The reason he actually auditioned was because his dance teacher encouraged him to audition for JYP. When he got to the audition the person running it recognized him and told him that she was the one who messaged him on Facebook. I also secretly think that this is why he didn't have to do anything other than a freestyle dance to pass his audition, because they already scouted him for his visuals.

I swear the description of Changbin is ultimately the same of Jooheon of Monsta X. An aggressive stage presence and rap whereas off stage, they’re definitely considered the baby of the group.
