Ok, but I feel like the "Places you shouldn't be" bumper is something Adult Swim would absolutely run

absolutely wild that something I made was covered to this extent <3 thank you

Using adultswim bumps is actually pretty smart, because it still qualifies as analog without doing the over done 80s or 90s

Peter falling immediately after the first clip was the funniest shit I've ever  witnessed.

Honestly the scariest thing about this is how realistic it feels. Like, considering adult swim has done stuff like the bear footage and too many chefs, this wouldn't feel too out of place, minus the last video with the person's address.

And the fact the kidnapper chose to hack into adult swim during the bumpers felt even more smart, because it's probably the one time during TV where you're least likely to figure out if something scary was serious with adult swim's track record of scary bumpers and stunts, so people would most likely assume it's just a normal bumper thus nobody would go looking for the victim if they didn't look into it more.

The best part of this is that, without context, I honestly wouldn't question any of it if it popped up on Adult Swim. It fits the typical content and tone of the block perfectly.

7:24 Imagine being home alone, stoned out of your mind, watching Family Guy. An infomercial comes on about a chocolate fondue pot and you think about how good it all looks... spacing out about snacks... Then suddenly this is on screen.

I LOVE this idea because Adult Swim, as funny as it was, was always very creepy to me

I'm happy there's a good quality, non-shitpost analog horror that has Peter Griffin in it.
Also that Battlefront II commercial made me smile like an idiot.

I remember catching 'Too Many Cooks' and 'Unedited Footage of a Bear' on separate occasions after coming back from late nights out. Those were so surreal and unexpected to encounter them after being several drinks in by that point of  time. I could totally see Adult Swim pull something like this with their bumpers and adjacent programming on their audience just to mess with them. Reminds me of those 'The Heart, She Holler' ads with the grandmother interrupting different programs and doing jump scares. Obviously this is a lost media analog horror project so it would be taken to another level online compared to Adult Swim.

My favorite part about this series is that this actually sounds like something adult swim would actually do as like a Halloween thing

the amount of trigun love in these bumpers i have to commend. Honestly good taste on the creators part

I think there was another victim, hence the second mile marker. The killer said there would be more victims. And that milk carton girl looks different and the killer implies with the picture edit that (s)he shot the second girl in the head.

The “want to go out to the movies?” Gave me the massive creeps, and with the songs playing in the car it makes me think the killer has some sort of weird stalker crush on the main character.

With this analog horror being placed on adult swim, I can actually see happening after all the scary commercials adult swim tended to play late at night for lil me to never fall asleep with the lights off again. XD

I remember how much adult swim unsettled me when I was young, but never expected anything like this.

I like the idea of the killer taking over the investigators account and kidnapping the uploader. Then, when it says, "im staying with a friend,"  the uploader is the new friend they aren't staying with a "friend" they are being held captive by the killer, and now its probably not what happened but still i thought ut was interesting

Adult Swim used to genuinely creep me out at times, between the weird TV bumpers (some of which would play with no background noisy or just grainy noise), but also "Too Many Cooks" and "Unedited Footage of a Bear" both of which I saw by complete chance. Genuinely wouldn't put it past Adult Swim to do some weird ARG like this.

Also love the amount of Trigun in the segments. The creator put a lot of great work into and I love most of all how they viewed everything from an actual TV screen, it made everything feel that much more authentic than if it had just had a filter slapped on top of it.

my theory? adult swim have been known to make unsettling bumpers, particularly in the transition between CN and AS, My theory is that the original bumper is a real bumper,  and after the narrator put out a call asking for more help finding it some random troll saw his destiny flash before his eyes and the story went downhill from there. there is no murderer, georgia never existed and someone just went a little too far.

TLDR; we do a little trolling

Unrelated, but the ghoul is using the "Nameless Ghoul" mask without the horns and hair. These masks are used by the band "Ghost", specifically during Papa Emeritus 3 and Cardinal Copia's era right before he ascended to Papa Emeritus 4.

"Am I Still beautiful without my jaw?"

Reminds me of The Walten Files - Bunny farm where Sha the sheep confirms she is Rosemary Walten to her own daughter, Sophie Walten, by stating the following:

"Am I still beautiful to you....Sophie??"
