This game definitely fell under unfortunate crunch time and circumstances. It feels like they definitely wanted to make a quality experience here, you can see the vision with things like the achievement based progression system or the open world Thomas Playground. But at the end of the day, those good ideas are attached to a very bare bones feeling game with not a lot of it’s own unique flare to really hold it up. This game really does just feel like a cheaper sequel to Cars 2 the game.

I remember one day at walmart i pointed out to my dad paper mario color splash and asked him for it. He said later and the next day he came back with driven to win which was the game BESIDE color splash.

I will forever stand by this statement...
"Cars 2 The Game to me is like Mario Kart on steroids." - ThundahBun
I loved it to pieces during my childhood, and I'm glad it's still getting recognition and respect to this day!

The Fabulous Lightning McQueen Was added in DLC.

..... cars 2? I thought it was a cars 3 vid!

Oh.....

14:28 it’s unlikely we’ll never get cars 4 the video game, as cars 3 driven to win was the last licensed Cars game.

What I'd like to see is a proper Cars racing game, that's basically a Nascar game in a Cars skin. Have us be able to actually win a Piston Cup. Maybe it could even be an OC, with Lightning as our trainer. Or hell, maybe have us be able to choose a trainer, so it could be Lightning, Cruise, The King, Chick Hick, etc. The possibilites are endless

I should say that if we do get a Cars 4 videogame I want it to feel close or at least similar to Cars: Race-O-Rama as we now have Thomasville, radiator springs, ornament valley, tailfin pass, fireball beach, and thunder hallow

We should’ve gotten Disney Infinity 4.0 instead of Cars 3 Driven to Win.

I’m in love with Cars the movie I love all 3 movies and I love Cars 3 Driven to win it a masterpiece of a Video Game I think it is better than Mario kart

9:57 Ramone was blue in the beginning of the film.

Would love to see you make a video about the original cars game I think it is amazing.

Alright, but now you need to make a video on Cars Race-O-Rama!

Wait a minute.... THAT'S DISNEY INFINITY CAR CONTROLS!!!

Its kinda crazy to think Avalanche Software went from making Cars video games, to making an amazing open world Harry Potter game, aka Hogwarts Legacy.

Cars 3 is okay, and it's better than most licensed games. But, it desperately needed a sense of speed. It's unbelievably slow, as was Cars 2 for that matter. It felt like I was driving at 10 MPH, not >200 MPH. Why does this game sound and feel like I'm driving a golf cart? I'm driving a powerful, 900 HP racecar, so I gotta hear some crazy, demonic exhaust note while I'm speeding at a good 200 MPH.

A crucial part of the thrill of a good arcade racing game is the insane sense of speed. They needed to grace this game with Burnout or Ridge Racer levels of fast. The game needed to feel like the player could lose control or crash and burn at any moment thanks to one wrong move. Otherwise, what's the point of it being a racing game?

If I want to play a fun, slower-paced racing game, then that's what Mario Kart is for. If I'm playing a video game starring a full-blown racecar, then I'd better feel like I'm speeding in a full-blown racecar when I'm going at 200 MPH.

I'm still pissed off that they did this with the stillborn corpse of Split/Second 2.

12:38 im pretty sure the racing mechanics in disney infinity are the exact same as in this game so it makes sense

I'm confused as to why this game wasn't on PC. I get that it's just a dumb party kart racer, but it would've made sense to put it on PC. Hell, even an online mode would've been fine. I know it's a "kids' game", but if Mario Kart and Sonic can do it, this can too lol.
