About today’s buddy time: I enjoy talking to all of you about how Superman inspires me, but I’m also curious what characters inspire you? You all have been very vocal in telling me not to feel silly for being inspired by a fictional character, so of course id love to hear your takes as well!

This game feels like it's from an alternate timeline where Scott Cawthon got success from his old work and never made a horror game, resulting in someone parodying his style to do it themselves

Personally, I see the ending as being bittersweet. They're still stuck in the game, but they at least have everything they want now.

Hoot dev here. I’m so glad you were able to make it through the entire story without any issues! For those who don’t know, this game had a ton of bugs during launch week that I was fortunately able to work out. With this being my first Steam launch and going the theme of learning, that’s what this game was for me; a massive learning experience. With that said, it warms my heart to see people enjoy uncovering secrets and exploring this world I put a lot of love into creating.

What a refreshing, awesome channel by the way. Thank you so much for giving Dr. Hoot a chance and I sincerely hope you all enjoyed it!

I think benny was dyslexic and he was forced to be in a different class, like a special ed class, and when their teacher made them all go into the program he was put into a different area to continue to be isolated from his friends

I like that the game just softlocks anyone under the age of 12 with the first word puzzle at the gate

I like how Dr Owl says the bell doesnt dismiss us,he does and at the end, gets killed by the bell. It's dumb, but I like some poetic irony

My thinking is Benny was the first test of the process to put the kids consciousness in the game. The teacher wouldn't risk himself without knowing it worked. That's why Benny is glitchy and abstract for most of it. He must have been incredibly lonely being able to see everyone but not be seen himself.

Ropes? Bombs? It's yours my friend, as long as you have enough extra credit points.

"I will go to my grave being silly" goes so hard. I need to embroider it on a pillow. I need the shitpost calligrapher on tumbr to write it in gold ink. I need it displayed everywhere.

"How did u turn ur head around like the exorcist" He asks the owl, an animal that is very known for being able to turn its head around 180 degrees 😭 lol

Just once I’d like to see a 90s edutainment game trying to make you think it’s a horror game but it’s just a normal ass game

1:45:02 The teacher in that sentence hated kids who wrote with their left hands, if you look in the Dr Hoot spelling minigame, Dr Hoot is left handed! Maybe some of the sentences for that minigame, or just that one in general, was talking about Dr Hoot?

"Its a cow farm, theres gonna be cows outside" W reference 😆😆

This is just another case of "if this game wasn't a horror game, this would be cool" because if they were to release a version that removes the horror stuff, this would be a great way to teach kids to spell
