One of my all time guilty pleasures. I love how deep this got as most would dismiss this film past service level. Thank you for this.

Listening to this again, I actually burst out laughing when Bill said it's his favourite Tom Cruise movie

Wow can't believe they didn't mention Cruise's hair changing lengths when he walks through doorways!

Fun fact: Uncle Pat played Emilio Estevez’s dad in the Breakfast Club.

the "Coughlin's laws" bit reminded me a lot of the one scene in TEEN WOLF where Michael J Fox's basketball coach is trying to school him on the ways of the world. "Never play cards with a woman who's got the same first name as a city" lol

I've had a crush on Elizabeth Shue since Karate Kid in 1984

Favorite Cruise movies:
Top Gun
Risky Business
Color of Money
A Few Good Men
Born on the 4th of July
Cocktail

They discuss no movie " cracking the service industry in the right way".. Bill, Chris and Sean what about the Ryan Reynolds and Justin Long film from 2005, "Waiting"?

@bladerunnerblues2019 3 days ago

I saw this at a drive-in when it came out...a double feature. "Cocktail" with "Clean and Sober."

RUN FOR THE SHELTER OF YOUR LOOOOOOVE! Looking at you Chris Ryan! Y’all needed to bring in Coughlin on this one. He’s not busy making FX 5 or anything ...

Im w/ Bill- I LOVE TOM CRUISE MOVIES. I love the man, I love his work, I just love him so much. I’ve seen all your rewatchables but the tom films are my fave. Cocktail may easily be my fave bad movie, and the most rewatchable. It’s just so damn fun. And he’s truly an amazing bartender in it!

This is my favorite Cruise movie.

Aliens 1986. You need two parts. Part 1 just for Hudson (played by the late great Bill Paxton) and Part 2 for the rest of the movie.......you know it makes sense.
