1984 was a great year for movies.

The most improbable part of the movie is that they set fires on two different floors of an old hotel in New York, and nobody was evacuated.

This was the first movie I saw on VHS back in 85.

30:40 Louis is an accountant and everyone at his party is a client, so he would be intimately aware of their finances 😅

When I was a kid I wanted a proton pack so badly 😂

Saw it at the cinema aged 8, and that chair scene with the monster arms coming out was too much and I had to leave. They let me back in for the giant marshmellow scene at the end.

The running gag of the key master constantly getting locked out always makes me laugh

I love the fact that Dr. Venkman is actually proving his theory of negative reinforcement on ESP ability, but could care less while he hits on the blonde student, lol. Thank you, very fun reaction.

Don't forget to see GHOSTBUSTERS 2 next!😉😁

I was 10 years old when I saw this movie for the first time and I love it. 😊

Coincidentally I’m about 3 blocks from where they filmed the interior firehouse scenes. The exterior of the building is shot in NY but the interiors were shot in Los Angeles.

The machine "incarcerated" (jailed) ghosts and not "incinerated" (burn to a crisp) ghosts.

One detail I never hear mentioned is that the "stairs that go up" in Dana's apartment are right behind where the refrigerator had been.

Best quotes:
“I had a twinkie once.”
“My dog breathes fast like that after a walk.”
I can’t stop laughing…
You’re a keeper.😜

One of My All Time Favorite Movies Nice Reactions to All of The Ghostbusters Movies

There was no CGI until the early 90's

The EPA (Enviromental Protection Agency) Agent is the Reporter in "Die Hard"......
The Cop that takes the Ghostbusters to see the Mayor is the actor that plays Sgt Al Powell in "Die Hard," and the Dad on "Family Matters"... Reginald VelJohnson

You have just witnessed my all time Favorite Movie. You need to watch Ghostbusters II, Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.

"LISTEN do you SMELL something?" 😁

37:54 *incarcerated. They were in ghost jail.
