Fun fact: due to quarantine, this film was actually shot over Zoom, and the actors did all the special effects themselves in their own houses, with the help of family members.

What I found most unsettling was Caroline's background looping over and over, even after her brutal death. It kept me on edge throughout.

That final jumpscare is the one of the most predictable and obvious jumpscares I've ever seen and yet it still scared the shit out of me and I applaud them for that lmao

I felt so terrible for Caroline. She didn't want to do it in the first place😢

Fun fact: The attic scene is actually inspired by a prank the director did on a Zoom call. He said he heard some noises and when he put his camera into the attic, he cut to footage from another movie which i won't name in case you get recommended it so I won't spoil anything in which a jump scare happened in an attic. The clip can be found online if you search Rob Savage. This was one of the things that inspired him to make the movie

“Blow out your candle and it’ll end the circle” blows out her candle too 😂

The demon: oh y'all  wanna play? Y'all wanna play games!? OK, ok hold  my earrings...

Haha I loved how you talking to them like they are literally your friends and can hear you 😂

I’m currently in film school and I’m trying to become a horror director.  Ive even had my own ghost experiences. I don’t get scared very easily.  This was truly terrifying.

The way she’s talking to everyone like “Caroline, what?” & “no, Hayley, sit down” sounds like she’s a teacher 😂

If you want another real good and unsettling found footage movie, The Taking of Deborah Logan is one of the best ones.

The V/H/S series is also very fun, but a little inconsistent. The 3rd one is the only entry I'd say is more bad than good, but the other three are mostly quality horror

I love when you edited yourself into the Zoom call. This movie is brilliant!

"oh you're gonna shove me up in there!" 😭☠️

Fun fact about this movie: Some of the guys are mostly the writers and directors of the movie. Of course this a covid movie, so they didn't have any other actors. The main six actresses are actually in their real houses for a scarier practical effect knowing their own house on the back of their hand.

"which one of you is gonna die" uh bestie I have bad news... 😂💀

As I was watching this video there was a super loud knock on my door, someone bringing me my HelloFresh delivery ... Scared me to death lol

If you haven’t watched the videos of how they did this, watch them! It was filmed during lockdown in each of their own homes, they’re all friends in real life minus the guy who is a stunt man and the Scottish woman who does the séance who actually that’s her real job. From idea to release it was 8 TOTAL WEEKS!!!!! great inspiration for new film makers, this was picked up by Shudder and they’re making a full movie as we speak that will be in theaters becasue of this! Anyone can do amazing things with a great idea!!!! Amazing group of actors who have appeared in reactors YouTube videos and Emma actuall does some reaction colabs with horror movie reactors watching horror movies. Awesome people. Also these are their real names and none of them knew why prerecorded stunts and jump scares were comming so the reactions weee more realistic and before each shoot they watched a video of the scariest movie clips the director could find to get their minds panicked. All stunts and makeup were done over zoom and FaceTime calls with stuntmen and makeup artists. Truly the making of this is as amazing as the movie!
Thanks again for doing this, need to get this out there !

Usually I don't easily get scared from movies, mainly because I watch a lot of horror, but this movie stressed me out fr. I guess because it was so immersive

Yooo! This one freaked me out more than Unfriended 100%!

Unluckiest person here would be Ted. Poor guy just came back and got burned to death.
