The old version of The Cult of Personality hits differently!

Punk rates this HIGHER than their MITB match. No wonder why, this match is a banger

This was the last time Punk and Cena faced off and both men delivered a classic. This is one of my favorite matches in RAW history

Everyone remembers the piledriver spot from this match. At the time, the piledriver was one of a few banned moves in WWE. So seeing Punk do a banned move in an act of desperation in order to beat Cena was definitely something to mark out over.

This was the final match between CM Punk and John Cena. It was the end of their historic rivalry.

Punk himself said this is his best ever match in WWE. I have to agree. Best match in Raw history

It’s crazy how we got a match of this quality on free tv.

One of the greatest matches in the history

“I think it’s easy to pick number one, and it’s me and John Cena from Houston, leading up to WrestleMania. It was on a Monday Night Raw. Easily, I think it was our best televised match. We might have had better matches on house shows, but that is my ‘flu match,’. Like Jordan’s Flu Game. I was sick, and boy, was I sick and tired at that point. That match is the essence of CM Punk at that moment. Hurt, tired, pissed off, with a chip on my shoulder.”

The piledriver spot was amazing, because it was essentially Cena & Punk agreeing to simply pay the fine they'd both be hit with. I mean, what else was WWE going to do at that point... fire or suspend two of their biggest stars a month before Wrestlemania?

23:09 For the piledriver moment everyone remembers this match for

If John Cena doesn't at least cross paths with CM Punk during his retirement tour, I will be very, very, VERY disappointed.

Sucks that the Triple Threat Match never happened at WM29. Rock vs Cena vs Punk would've been way better than "Twice in a lifetime".

we were treated to RAW matches like this.

First RAW on Netflix would be a BANGER

Arguably their greatest match. The final form for both men. It’s incredible

As CM Punk himself said, this was his and John Cena's wrestlemania moment.

This was a PPV quality match on free TV. If they didn't drop the ball with Summer of Punk, I think the Punk/Cena rivalry could have been the PG Era version of Rock/Austin.
