National Route 125 runs straight through the heart of Japan’s Kanto Plain,
connecting three prefectures: Saitama, Ibaraki, and Chiba.
Although the official starting point of this road is in Katori City, Chiba,
this journey begins in the opposite direction.
We start in Kumagaya, Saitama, and drive east for 120 kilometers in one continuous run.
Along the way, we pass through multiple cities and towns,
including Gyoda, Kazo, Koga, Shimotsuma, Tsukuba, Tsuchiura, Ami, and Inashiki.
The route crosses wide flatlands, major rivers,
and skirts the southern edge of Lake Kasumigaura,
one of the largest lakes in Japan.
The journey ends at the Sahara Overpass Intersection in Katori City,
after cutting straight across the center of the Kanto Plain.
This video includes full driving footage,
route maps, and timestamps for easy navigation.
