My friend you listen carefully, there's absolutely nothing wrong with being frugal and watching your money... But you have to understand something....

You have to live life while you have it, you're not guaranteed even tomorrow.

I’m 15, and whenever I make money from side hustles, I split it up like this: 35% goes into my savings, 30% I set aside for hobbies and sports, 5% I use for everyday things like grabbing a drink or snack once or twice a week, and 30% I invest in ETFs (my parents manage the investment account). On average, I invest about 50–75 CHF per month. During the holidays, I sometimes work for a week or two, which usually earns me around 600–700 per week. That’s how I manage my money. Step 1: live somewhere that doesn't take 60%+ of your income just for rent, 10% for insurance, 10% for gas, and 10% for food unless you only want to eat KD everyday (delicacy but bad for the bowels)

My bank transfers $200 four times a month (7th, 14th, 21st & 28th day) into my savings account, by the end of the year I'll have saved almost $10,000 which I never thought about. So I can at least confirm that having a system thats consistent WILL WORK if you dont interfere with it

edit: ive now changed it to $400 so now id be saving almost 20k/year. an automated system is 100% the way to start saving

I started with $5k just last week in 2025, and now I've hit $87,590. I was having this exact conversation with my son the other night—generational wealth isn't just about getting money. It's about teaching everyone not only how to make it, but also how to maintain it. It does no good for me to provide for my family if they dont understand how to manage and sustain it. That's why I really love this video.

Well I’m glad I don’t just leave my money in my account 😮‍💨 it immediately comes out to pay on debt and bills. I currently have $2, so gas goes on credit today 🙂
