We humans lost one of our best in 2025. Rest in peace Ieuan.

RIP Ieuan, would have loved to have met you and learned from you one day. I was shocked to find out you passed away a few months back. Hope you've found peace and condolences to the family❤️

I love these little "hmmh" sounds he does. It's a small anchor to check if his listener is still mentally present and gives off a comforting, grandfatherly vibe

When YouTube recommends a video and it’s about a that guy lives 2 miles away from me. 😅

What a gem. This is a man who has achieved “self actualization.”

The whole “analytical mind” versus creative mind dichotomy is such a fallacious idea; the greatest scientists and technicians are in touch with their creative imagination, and the greatest artists are those who can analytically & critically examine both reality and their own work. You can see how Mr Rees is highly analytical about his own work.

love this guy, what a calm soul

This man is so calming and wise. Listening to him makes me feel better!

The world needs more men like him; passionate in their trade and content with the joy they bring to others and the lives they've carved out (hah) for themselves.

I knew I was going to be moved by this in some way, but I definitely didn't expect to be crying in bed from this beautiful man's story and words

I love this old man. Such an unwarranted loss of his' life... There is appreciation for decay in many animistic religions.

This video was inspiring. He is such a powerful soul with an amazing talent. It touches me.

Can't believe how often I come back to this (despite the dodgy sound!) when needing lulled to sleep. So grateful that this is available.

He was amazing in that video he had. What a talent he has

I was thinking he reminds me of someone, then it dawned on me, it's Anthony Hopkins.

Modern Day Teachers: You got a D-, but that's okay! You can still pass!
Leuan's Teacher: Bro your handwriting's amazing but I can't read it you better fix that.

Amazing man. The Welsh version of Mick Quirke over in Sligo. Wish we still had some guys like this left in Scotland.

I remember Ieuan as a lecturer in Dyfed College of Art in the 1970s. Great bloke. Glad to see he's  still going strong. Hwyl!

I love the energy of this man, what a pure person, I know so few people like this (if any) in daily life

Lovely cottage 🏡

for anyone not familiar with old school British slang and wondering what "heath robinson" means in the context, it is used to describe a machine that is complex and whack to an almost cartoonish level.
