"I figured they'd have me as a gay cat or something, so I said yes"

I just love looking at his face.

Robert thought he'll be voicing a gay cat in South Park.
This is everything.

Oh Robert Smith ive always had such a crush on you , creative, deep , genuine . Mrs Smith must be a wonderful woman to have captured his heart.

What a huge impact on me as a teen to read an interview/see an interview with Robert Smith (and enjoy the music of course) and hear an adult, a creative and successful artist, talk about not compromising, not buying into shallow culture, not measuring yourself against capitalist success, reading novels, knowing what worked for him and working by instinct towards quality, and being soft-spoken and himself--an anti-hero-worship factor built in. A huge relief and confirmation.

Really soft soul , seems like such a great guy and his songwriting and music is almost greater

This man is not from this planet, he is so special . And I thought I was the only one who liked him as a man, even now at 61

I went to the bloodflowers show and it wasn't gothic, but it was truly the best of the cure. They played faith, plainsong, sinking and a handful of other moody types of songs. In fact they opened with plainsong and timed it so that it began just as the sun was setting. They were amazing.

He has the cutest face

Imagine having HIM as the oncle of your kids... he must be sooooo sweet with them ❤️

Brittany Spears and The Cure... I would never have believed that phrase could have been put in one sentence if I hadn't heard it straight from Robert Smith. What a great interview he is.

This is probably the best interview I've seen with Robert. He's more relaxed and open here and it makes for a great watch.
Kudos to the interviewer.

His voice is lowkey so calming, not in a weird way tho💀

I could listen to him all day long! Love his voice and he’s such an insightful person.

Robert Smith makes living now beautiful...

There will never be remotely another Cure or anything next to Roberts lyrics LONG LIVE THE CURE!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's very telling that Robert made the band listen to Disintegration and Pornography as a model for Bloodflowers. It's the first album where The Cure sounds like they're self-influenced.

I love how calming he is

He is the most unassuming and down to earth person!  Most performers with his level of success don’t make such an effort to fully and honestly engage with an interviewer.
