It's always a pleasure to watch anything with Sid james in 👍

You won't get the likes of Sid James again but at least there is plenty of films and series out there to remember him

He was not always the lovable rogue, refusing to acknowledge his own baby from his days in South Africa.

Comedy legend, and a wonderful man

Great actor sadly missed

he was the best

Sid James was a character, could act any part.  He was marvellous in all his films

Excellent entertainment, very well put together, highly entertaining, very informative, certainly makes captivating viewing ...
Apart from the things Sid is famous for there is an awful lot of things we didn't know about him, which makes this one of the most interesting documentaries.
We all thank the producers for many hours of hard work and collaboration putting all of this together.

The thing I loved seeing most was his three children, I am sure dad would be very proud of them now.
He was a tour de force in acting, he could have done so much more if it were not for typecasting .

Without Sid James cast in the Carry On Films
Let’s face it those films couldn’t Carry On

I grew up in the 80s with many comedy repeats from the 70s such as Dad’s Army or The Good Life on BBC 1 or 2. Bless This House wasn’t on my radar as I don’t recall ITV repeating their hit sitcoms in the same way. I think if Bless This House had been a BBC production I would have seen repeats as a child and the show would be known to subsequent generations. As it is, the only time I heard of the series was when (the inevitable in the 70s) cinema movie spin-off was broadcast on TV.

Thanks for sharing this. I really enjoyed it.

God Bless Sid James ❤❤❤

The children look just like him.

He punched pregnant women.

Cracking !

Whenever anyone refers to him as Joel Cohen I know what's coming next.

Sid was a true English talent.
I liked every film and everything he started in.

Love Sid James, but I find this documentary a bit odd, compared to an earlier documentary that featured his wife. This one that features his children glosses the facts from everything from his affair with Barbara Windsor, the situation with her gangster boyfriend, his first heart attack how he acted afterwards, how certain things occurred including his death. With all that said this was still a great documentary, but what his wife said about him should be in every documentary, she was a very special woman.
