The opening credits are so creepy. British horror was so very good back in the day.

I can remember staying up late watching these when I was 5 or 6 with my Mam. I loved all the Hammer Horror, Amicus, Tygon, Tyburn movies and still do. The intro music still gives me chills.

Brilliant series always had a twist at the end. The silent scream was also an excellent episode.

One of my favourite episodes, mainly because it was so different and unusual. ❤ And Denholm was always excellent

The lady of the house dancing towards him scared the bejesus out of me as a kid, and wasn't Lucy Gutteridge a beaut, for me the best of the run, deliciously ridiculous premise but well executed

I love this episode, bought the boxset just for it. Kept thinking it was from an old Amicus film.

I remember this episode from when I was about 10 years old, it reminded me of, The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, which I also watched and enjoyed so much as a kid. Back in the day parents were a lot more open minded about what their kids watched, and children's TV wasn't the patronising crap it is today.
