A.K.A Rosemary's Killer

If you're prowling around the interwebs, why not take 20 odd minutes and watch what happens when the recipient of a Dear John Letter holds a grudge for nearly four decades.

This Joseph Zito-directed slasher flick from the early 80s was swept under the rug upon release, but earned a cult following due to some truly nasty kills by makeup magician Tom Savini.

Starring Vicky Dawson, Christopher Goutman, Lawrence Tierney, Farley Granger, Cindy Weintraub, Lisa Dunsheath, David Sederholm, Bill Nunnery, Thom Bray.

Directed by Joseph Zito.

great retrospective! I have been going to Cape May each summer since the 70s and not sure how I missed this filming back in the day!!! It's a great town and so glad that you highlighted it in this video. Fun fact, the 1989 horror/comedy Blades was filmed in the next town over, Villas.

Dude. Tom Bray's most prominent role is definitely getting skewered by Alice Cooper in Prince of Darkness :)

To be honest I would NOT want Shout Factory to handle the remaster and or re-release of this movie. In the past few years, since the switch over to new management, their transfers have gotten lazier and thinner. They don't take anywhere near the same care anymore as they did when they first hit the scene. At the time of this comment, I would say Arrow Video would be the better choice. I love Severin Films and Vinegar Syndrome, but they sometimes miss the mark with Color Timing on films. Arrow Video is always spot on perfect.
