Those people are very closed minded. If they could just think about the child, who didn't choose to have a father, who doesn't want to pay, or be involved. They are being selfish, and it says a lot, on who they are, as people.

I was under the impression that all the man had to do was to sign legal documents giving up his parental rights and visitation privileges and there wouldn’t be any child support requirements.  
My friend’s husband did that when his wife cheated on him and divorced him while he was overseas in the air force… she wanted him out of the picture and he signed …. The child support for their 3 children was terminated, but he never saw his kids again till they were grown.

If a woman is allowed to kill the child against the fathers wishes then a man should be allowed to sign away his rights to the child and not have to pay for the child. Its crazy that only the woman has any rights when it comes to parenthood.
