"I know in my heart that in his final moments, he repented and-"
"Nooo. Noooooo."

As an exmormon who was born and raised in the heart of Utah, Buddy makes me both deeply sad and deeply irritated. He's a perfect foil for Kristen...and me!

The ability to tell a judgmental person who is deeply religious offering their condolences that no, my dead dad didn't repent and he is in fact in hell having the time of his life, is only possible in fantasy and it deeply saddens me

I love how everyone skated right over Ally saying “I kiss him deeply on the mouth”

Brennan's ability to perfectly capture pure Midwestern energy in all forms is absolutely stunning.

Bud Cubby and Buddy Dawn are like the inverse Buds

I love how the rat grinders are basically just bizarro versions of the bad kids

I like where the clip cuts off so we don't hear Buddy's opinion on his party member's song. Genuinely.

2:16, As manic as Ally and Kristen appear, it’s somehow funnier that they don’t actually want to trick a fellow student into getting himself drunk by exploiting his gullibility (even if they don’t like them for being a stereotypically prudish kid raised in a heavily religious household).

It’s things like this that keep the Bad Kids or other groups this cast plays from being so chaotic they simply forget any sense of morality.

I love that Gertie leaning in for a kiss was originally sort of meant as like a bad read of the situation, but then Kristen just accepting it turned it around into a nice thing all around for both of them lol

Man I really want his character to not be evil and change the entire religion of Helio into something better

That’s an Idaho Mormon right there

Honestly, I kind of love Buddy

Okay, I can't wait for Buddy to met Gorthalax

God I so badly want him to not be an asshole because he seems like a pretty decent guy

I feel like worshippers of the corn god would at least drink Busch Light. Close enough to water anyway.

The fact that I was expecting the word “twink” after blonde is  probably not healthy

Every time the followers of helio are just blatantly fantasy mormons I laugh my ass off

HA love the Book of Mormon musical reference in the title

I have a deep and inexplicable love for Buddy, and of all the Rat Grinders I think he's the most redeemable. Unless of course the villain of the series is affiliated with Sol and Helio and he's the MOST in on it, but still. I hope he comes to a similar realization as Kristen did in s1.
