Good grief...whoever filmed this is totally incompetent...moving shaking camera constantly, aiming up at the tree..yapping dog...it's unwatchable!

Lord have mercy, don't record a long form video right next to a whining, panting mutt.

He’s an hilarious and very personable man. I met him yesterday . I decided to take a drive to Gettysburg . They were coke n jokin trying to build a project lol around the resource desk ;)
I told him I’ve been watching him for a couple years . I’m a combat vet and it was a pleasure meeting him and all the people in the center. They are all great and there was barely anyone there and i got lucky to spend some time with them all. I’m a history nerd. Matt is through and through a character and he’s a major pulse there at Gettysburg . He really made my day and i hope he believed that. I joked with him and said he “made half my week” haha hes laughed . He made my year meeting him actually . He’s a good spirit. He goes to the guy, “why you wearing a beard shirt when you don’t have one “ Baha hes savage

My great Grandfather was a mule team driver. We  have a coy of his discharge papers, James Maguire themmmmlmlm

There will never be any guide better than Matt Atkins. I really appreciate him.

Lousy camera work

And which guns ? Smoothbores  or Rifles ? https://youtu.be/SI9GRdvUtkQ

Love this man and his knowledge, interesting how many people have bought into the lost cause mentality

Two of my Confederate ancestors were in the 20th Georgia Infantry Bennings brigade who fought at Devils Den July 2 1863 I agree with Hood they shouldve gone to the right and flanked the yankee defenders there

Need to replace the camera person and get someone who understands the concept of centering the subject.. Also the dog panting in the mic really is annoying.

Stuff writer thank you for posting these. Really enjoying them

Matt deserves a better camera man. Please someone help that dog.

What's going on with the weird sky shots?

Stuff Writer,
The talk Matt refers to that he did “6 years ago” and this video picks up where it ended, which talk is he referring to? Do you have it in your page?

Love the videos. One huge benefit of your presentations is the ability to see the landscape. The clouds are nice but showing the terrain really helps.

That witness tree in Devil's Den is awe inspiring. Just imagine what that tree saw that day.

Nicely done Mat and Ben!  It is wonderful to see such affection between father and son.

Can I run the camera for you?

Great Information, bad camera work.
