I would agree with the "talking to loud" comment. As an American myself, it is annoying when you see others behaving this way in public. Especially when traveling overseas. Of course, common sense is hard to come by here in the US.

Pea, regarding people cutting in line, I don't hesitate to inform them where the line is. During the pandemic, I was in the line at SMHYPERMART and had been there for maybe 30 minutes. A man cut in line in front of me, and I told him the line was back there. He didn't like it, but he left when the security guard came over. Then, the Filipino man behind me tapped me on the back and said thank you. He made my day.

It is true. For the most part, foreigners are very honest and most the time, we don't care if it hurts someone's feelings. With my wife and me for example, when she serves me food, if I don't like it, I will tell her. It's not because I want to hurt her, but because if I don't like something, I don't want to eat it. If I lie and say it tastes good, she will make it for me again and again and I'll be stuck eating something I don't like. Honesty may hurt in the moment, but only if you see it as an insult rather than a way to improve on yourself.

I was raised to be a gentleman, the strong, silent type, but always with a smile... I stay honest, sincere, and genuine about my feelings upfront, and never be deceitful about my intentions... When I came to the Philippines in May of 2022, I was used to the toxic response I would get when opening a door for a lady or giving a simple, polite compliment... However, that was actually appreciated by Filapinas, and I always get a smile and a "thank you", which is refreshing... Just be prepared because that demeanor, which is put down by many western women, is like a magnet for Filapinas! 😳😉😁

My father always went for a drive if he was mad, this gave him time to cool off. He said that he did this so he would not say anything that he would regret.

The young lady at 8:14 was my favorite. To me she doesn't look half American. But wow! the way she looks and talks, I just want to watch her all day. Reminds me of my Filipina Finance' from way back over 10 years ago.

Pea, your energy level is so amazing; when you interview you flow with your questions making the video very good to watch plus your face expressions convince me you can be an actor on stage or in movies...The live filming you do is revealing of what your like in person...Your an amazing woman and your work in producing your show is very good; I'm a producer too!

I was in a subway in korea and my and the boys were laughing at a joke. An old Korean dude stepped up and said. "This is a public place, this is not a priwate place!" And we all shut up.

Americans are workaholics. I've heard this complaint many times from Filipinos. It's true, we go stir-crazy if we don't have something to do. We have to build, we have to sell, we have to do something. We can't do nothing.

I was always taught to open the door for others (regardless of gender). It totally throws my Filipina wife for a loop when I open the car door for her. For a lot of western guys I know who are also married to Filipinas, old-school chivalry is a sort of love language for us. We're treated so incredibly well by our Filipina wives, that something as basic as opening a door or holding an umbrella over them in the rain is just a small way of saying thank you for the amazing way they treat us.
