I never understood the continuation of gears 3 into gears 4. There are more than 10 years of the war that isnt explored and also the Pendulum Wars, they have material to make so many games about the past that the present didnt need to be continued. Great video G

I think they need to bring back the stage transitions in Gears. The snow map and the avalanche coming mid match was so cool and made strategy more dynamic

people kept saying i was remembering maps wrong when i said there was more blood on walls and rain in gears of war then there was in the ultimate edition, glad to see im not crazy lol

Gears 2 was a huge part of my childhood and I picked up 1 to get the cosmetic unlocks at first but ended up liking the story and achievement hunting it, 3 was the last game I played in the series, been thinking about jumping back in for E day especially if the multiplayer is good

I honestly enjoyed gears judgement more then I did 5 honestly

1:50 Gears Tactics is good. But you gotta like xcom-style gameplay.

The British inability to pronounce names incorrectly even after knowing/hearing the proper pronunciation will never not be funny to me 😂

Unless you're just in it for the story, Gears Tactics should be way higher on this list. As a tactics game it's really fun, and how they integrated classic Gears style combat and movement into it is really clever. Absolutely needs a sequel. My only complaint was that veteran mode mission design gets pretty repetitive. But the combat loop and challenge is there for those who enjoy a good tactics game.

I gotta say, gears of war 4 multiplayer is probably my favorite in the series. (except for maybe e day when it comes out) I think that's because it just felt like a more refined gears of war 3 and i played a lot of gears 3 back in the day.

I've always LOVED Gears of War and the Ultimate Edition is my favorite Gears of War game

I agree with your top3, BUT! I would place Judgment 4th or 5th right behind either Gears1 or Ultimate.

Ukkon is an intelligent Sire, not a Kantus.

Gears 6 will literally have 2 different campaign modes to choose from with or without jd or del in them each with different character dialogue

As a dumb arcade like game I really enjoy Judgement.
Not defending it but saying I had fun with it.

Could not disagree more gears 2 was perfect. Definitely the best gears, then gears 3 then gears 1.

Funny I almost couldn’t have done it more differently, I thought gears 3 and 4 were really worse than the rest.
Gears tactics was also a very solid game.

Agree on almost the entire list and rating, but the judgement i thought it was much much better than both 4th and 5th entry which were honestly a downfall for the series
