Control Resonant is out and there's a lot the game just doesn't explain properly. I've spent proper time in it and pulled together 12 tips that are going to change how the whole game feels, including one setting almost nobody's talking about yet that genuinely transforms combat.

Omg! You’re a lifesaver, my man! I didn’t realize that weapon strength was graded among all weapons and had completely ignored upgrading any others till now. I was playing hard mode without realizing it. I’m in the last half of the game, and this is a way to go out with a bang! cheers to you!

In ANY game i take the option of weapon that deals most crit damage and has highest crit chance and build off that. People think high damage output is key, but them CRITS is what mows down bosses

Tip #13 : Enable tap to sprint in settings. It makes traversal so much more enjoyable

This game is amazing, and how about that soundtrack and those SFX. Great tips. I'm 19.5 hours in and have only taken out the first two Resonant - still in Central. Sipping this one like a fine wine. Thanks for the share.

As someone who chose whip and still thinks it's great for the first half of the game, especially for clearing the weak enemies, crush gets invaluable for the second half just due to its damage type. Breaking armor and getting through heavy doors if you don't get the slam is very useful.

Well I rawdogged the game without upgrading my character,getting new weapons or move set for 8 hours of the game .did not know that by pressing down on the d pad for few seconds allows me to upgrade my character . Thought that the game will give me new abilities through killing bosses and going through altered items like the first control….

I think people are sleeping on this game. Probably because of the open world part but iv never seen it done like this. Every mission is a story its insane. Loving it.
