Hey all, so the initial release of this reaction was a while back. And we faced some hard copyright claim issues with it. We took this as an opportunity to do a complete makeover with the edit as (our teams editing style has greatly improved since then) and put out an even better version of it. This was supposed to come out much earlier, but so many other reactions were happening that were prioritized. We finally found the opportunity to focus on this one. We hope you guys enjoy!

How one hates Cage and empathizes with Travolta only to then hate Travolta and empathize with Cage....these actors did a great job playing 2 characters each.

Another example of how 90s movies rule.

This is what it looks like when a movie doesn't apologize for being awesome on its own terms.

90s movies just hit different

castor didn't mean to kill sean's kid. the bullet went through him and into the son's head.

Fun fact: both John Travolta and Nicolas Cage had to learn each others mannerisms, acting techniques before filming that's why how they portrayed each other on film was just absolute cinema

The real genius of this movie is that they both had 2 act as their own character AND as their counterparts. Travolta, Cage AND Woo did the dayum thing on this 1. WAY b4 its time...

In an interview, Nick Cage said that this was his favorite movie of his.

"Sorry, y'all. This guy took my face and stuff."

Completely understandable.

Nic Cage said in an interview recently that he would love to play Castor Troy again, but play him as Castor throughout the whole movie. And I could not agree more. He was great as Sean Archer, but he was SO much more fun as Castor Troy.

Face/Off is without a doubt the ultimate action flick. Travolta and Cage have made a great on screen rival.

The Stuntwork in this Movie is out of this World

Nicolas Cage is phenomenal, but John Travolta takes this film to another level.
Travolta plays both himself and Cage.

14:57 - This guy, Nick Cassavetes, is the son of actor/director, John Cassavetes, who was the husband in the classic horror/suspense thriller, "Rosemary's Baby".

"Im going to take his face....off" man a mf classic this movie is every 90's kid dream. From troys Pistols to insane Nick Cage antics. "Well looks like you are going to be in here for.....THE NEXT HUNDRED YEARS" 😂

John Woo was known for his high BODY COUNTS in his movies. Hard Boiled and such. My friend introduced me to Woo movies way before this, so we knew this would be a good one when we went to see it in the theater.
