The next generation of Pre-65 scramble riders have something to say! π
After our last video featuring the older generation of Pre-65 riders β including an incredible rider still racing at 83 years old β we started getting messages from a younger bunch of riders who had one question:
βWhat about us?β
Well, we heard you!
So we headed to Foxborough Pre-65 Scramble to meet the younger generation keeping this incredible sport alive. These riders are choosing to race motorcycles that are often twice their age, putting themselves and these historic machines through some seriously tough racing.
But what is it about these old bikes and Pre-65 scrambling that gets them hooked?
We spent the day watching some serious action on track and chatting to the riders about why they love the sport, what draws them to these classic machines, and why theyβre determined to keep the tradition of Pre-65 scrambling alive for the next generation.
And, of course, we couldnβt leave without catching up with Peter, who we featured in our previous video. At 82 years old, heβs still getting out there and racing β proving that age really is just a number!
From the riders who remember these bikes in their heyday to the younger generation now keeping them roaring around the track, this is a sport that clearly isnβt going anywhere.
If you love classic motorcycles, vintage scrambling, Pre-65 bikes and the people who keep this incredible sport alive, you wonβt want to miss this one.
π Watch, enjoy and let us know in the comments β would you ride a bike twice your age?
