Huge respect to you Tommy and your lovely wife.

Watching this raw uncut, unfiltered video is really what fans need more of. What a great couple. Fun to watch after Tommy's huge FedEx win. Best to the Fleetwood's and their family. Claire is equally likeable!

Tommy is an inspiration. He gives the impression of being just a gentleman and nice bloke.

Claire's insight into the mental side of golf is breathtaking.  Breathtakingly homespun, naive, and blind guesswork... don't give up your day job managing business, Claire!

Watching this after Tommy’s FedEx win and seeing how well you handled all the calls on you immediately after the win. Fantastic to see the strength of the bonds between you and Claire and the whole family. You are great ambassadors and deserve every success you have earned.  Best wishes for the Ryder Cup. Bring it home 👍👏👏👏

Big fan Tommy! So happy for your success and huge PGA win! Wonderful wife and family.

He deserves to win a major & would be a most popular champion. Hope he does it! Great bloke . Lovely couple. Cheers

Tommy is my favorite golfer and his wife is absolutely stunning.

Great interview Its  no wonder everyone likes him  they are both a great couple

Wishing you both the very best!

I enjoyed this conversation. Both Tommy and Clare are very thoughtful people and seem like the kind of people you would want as friends. As for golf, they are right. It's nearly all mental. Last year I decided to do something about my chronic uncontrolled slice (I'll be 78 next month and I've been playing off and on since I was 12). I'm at the point where I feel I have my stance, grip and swing where I have 100% confidence in them. The only block I face is consistency, which at my age is difficult to manage. But, I routinely beat most all of the 125 people in my senior golf league on driving (250 yards and I can keep up with the best drivers, most of whom are 10 or more years younger and bigger than my 5'8" and 150 lb frame) and I win money at least half of the times I play (money, albeit minor amounts, is always a part of the game).

The other thing that was probably important in Tommy and Clare's life is their age difference. When I was 70, there were about a dozen of us who played on Saturday in a mixed group followed by dinner. There were married couples and several of us whose spouses had passed away. I was very attracted to a woman who was 80. We both had kept our physiques and mental outlooks in shape, so to speak. I'd always ask her to be my playing partner and I always tried to be seated next to her at dinner because I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations. I think it could have developed into a romantic relationship but her daughter, as I was told, became concerned about her mother's ability to care for herself and finally got her to move into an assisted living facility that took her out of our group (I hadn't noticed it, but I was told her memory was in decline). All the while this was going on, I was being "courted" by a neighbor woman who was only 45 and quite attractive. I declined her advances for over a year because I was not about to get involved in a "cheating" romance, but we remained friends. Finally, just before Valentines Day, she came by walking her beloved dog and she asked me what I was doing for Valentine's Day. I said that this holiday never held importance for me and my wife of 38 years (she had passed away several years earlier from pancreatic cancer) because we always went out to dinner every week anyway. After I said that, she said her husband had finally agreed to take her out to dinner and that was the first time I ever heard her say a negative thing about him. I decided I'd get to the bottom of that and invited her to lunch the following week The day before our lunch, another neighbor stopped by at 7:30 a.m. and asked if I knew why all the police cars were at this woman's house. Long story short, her husband claimed she committed suicide which I didn't believe for a minute (I had known this woman for 12 years and I never had any reason to believe she couldn't handle whatever a broken marriage might have brought on to her). Her husband committed suicide a few weeks later (I suspected he was a drunk and was addicted to pain killers thanks to a back injury decades earlier). A friend close to the investigation to told me he was suspected as being the shooter and that the scene was "staged". I also learned from her friends, who were not in my social group, that he was physically and mentally abusing her, something I was not aware of. Ironically, we had had a conversation about her husband's family deer hunting and it was clear to me that she had never fired a gun and probably wouldn't even know how to load a pistol, much less fire it.

That was the last straw for me in my home state of Michigan I put my house up for sale and moved to Virginia so as to be close to my daughters who had recently moved to D.C. for jobs. However, the fact that I was attracted to someone significantly older and had considered the possibility of a relationship with someone significantly younger, never entered my mind as a problem to be solved. Rather, they were both opportunities that just didn't work out. Soulmates, I believed, was the critical factor in a relationship. I congratulate Tommy and Clare for having the great luck to have found each other. I know I was very lucky to have found my wife and, I suspect, I nearly pulled it off a second time with two women I'll always remember fondly.

I hope I can find an interview with them after the Tour Championship & FedEx Cup win!!
