I just started junk journaling in December last year and it has been one of the best things I’ve done for myself. I feel like it’s something that has no rules and I can just glue whatever I want in my pages. 🥰

I started junk journaling on January 1, 2026 and it has been such a memorable and consistent hobby for me. I stopped creating in 2021 when my grandma passed away. I’ve given myself patience to start creating again and journaling has brought me new joy. My #1 tip is to let go and let the page come to you.

I really wouldn’t call this a junk journal. I would call it a memory journal, because when you look back at it, it brings you happy memories of your travels and there’s a focus and theme to it. Love what you’ve done. ❤

I call it SCRAP JOURNALING. Like a patchwork quilt that is made up of the scraps of someone’s life. And, like that quilt, it is warm and cozy and full of comfort and memories(happy AND sad!)❤️

First time here, LOVE this ….all of it. Absolutely 100% yes to junk journaling, being crucial for mental health and a way of taking care of yourself, that really resonated with me. I am just getting started, but I’m so excited! Pretty sure you are now my favorite junk journaling channel, you inspire me as much as Amity Bloom, and that is saying a lot! 🤩😍💞

I bought your book last month and spent February junk journaling! It was so much fun junk journaling every day. It was relaxing and sometimes it felt like a good outlet for my stress. Going forward, I'll definitely have a designated junk journal that I'll fill out once a week or whenever I go somewhere.

Loved your junk journal flip through , your journal is so beautiful.Enjoyed your New York section, I was there last October and went to a lot of bookstores including Pillow Cats which I loved and bought so many fun things for my gluebook. I’m an Aussie too so very pleased to see a creative Aussie doing so well doing what you have a passion for

I love the idea of creating all of my travel junk journal pages while I'm still ON the trip. I usually come back with an overwhelming amount of junk that I can't bring myself to throw out during, and then when I finally get around to creating my pages at home, I recycle a bunch of it anyway 😅 Question for you - do you bring several background paper options with you on the trip to do these pages? Or pick up papers during the trip? I imagine you probably bring one of your own paper books with you 😅 but if so, is that all you bring?
