From 5:23 onwards Chill felt his blood pressure steadily increasing for the incoming debate

why do we protect malone and stockton like they aren’t one of the most let down duos ever lol , i like protecting history besides the nasty man but they were objective losers

Ox oldhead bias is weird cuz he’s not even old lol

Revisionist. Nobody was saying the Thunder didn’t have enough talent when they were up 3-1 in the Warriors.

Thunder fan here and OKC native, that 2016 OKC team lacked a bench. They were horrible, every time KD and Russ would go to the bench they would lose leads and wouldn’t get no production from them. It’s the main reason they failed. Sam Presti learned from the mistakes and now have a deep bench probably the deepest in the league now. Wish we had a similar bench back then like we have with I. Joe and McCain and a backup pg like Ajay Michelle we definitely would have beat the warriors in 2016.

I think Reggie Jackson or Harden should've started on the Thunder lineups and Thunder would've won from 2012 and forward. They replied only on Russ and KD especially when KD got hurt 2015.

Stockton and Malone had an owner with a net worth of 8 million when he bought the jazz. In those days they didn't have any money to pay a 3rd guy in 1995 they finally got Hornaceck.

Durant and westbrook is better . There are duos that fit together and duo that are just straight up talented. Stockton and malone fit together like a puzzle but the talent of westbrook and durant moves the gap in their favor. Putting winning in DUO conversations can be tricky because you are no longer talking about those 2 players but he whole roster.

Ngl, Ox’s takes be unbearable. Why would Webb & Peja even get a mention?

@theodorehagens8281 6 months ago

If okc had never traded for Perkins, first small boy team to win championship

People hate John Stockton. He did his job to a T of what you wanted from a PG back then. He protected possessions by not giving the ball up, he got all his teammates involved and got them the ball where they wanted it he did all the dirty and he was tough. He wasn’t flashy he was a perfect extension of what his coach wanted.

I remember after game 6 in 2016 when Klay went off there was this crazy stat that KD and Russ missed more shots in that game than the rest of the team TOOK! Let that sink in...

@DurrTV1031 3 months ago

I’m old enough to remember that Thunder team in 2016. Many people said they had the best roster in the NBA

@abtocool6350 6 months ago

Kobe and Pau should’ve been brought up

These convos get weirder n weirder. How are we comparing duos who had different roles on their relative teams? John wasnt asked to score . Karl was a traditional pf. Were comparing traditional positions to non traditional. This is why looking at stats of these comparisons are skewed and need context, not just these are their numbers and thats thats. Were not looking at era, rules, pace, nothing. Just raw numbers. Thats super ignorant
