Butters is such an out of place, yet at the same time, much needed character in this show. Butters is one of those characters that made an impact towards the beginning of the show, that has been sustained throughout it's lifespan.

Butters is wise, honest, kind, caring, compassionate.....and the speech he gives to his grandma, who treats him in such a terrible way, is truly inspiring
