Democracy isn't done with me yet either.

More on the way. Peace.

This is the origin story of the first armor set for the Steeled Veterans Warbond

The fact that the two already on the ship managed to coordinate that grab perfectly means they scrambled for that pose the moment they heard the jumppack and realized their squadmate wasn't dead.

Undisputed canon for servo assisted

2:47 he has a bunch of stims in his leg

And that's when he replaced his arm and his leg to become the Steel Trooper.

I absolutely, unironically love that the Helldiver isn't a fucking pro.
The way he stumbles about, fucking up his SMG spray, they shoot without fucking aiming, the camera flipping around to him just executing 1 small bug as if that's impressive (but it probably feels satisfying and awesome) is very accurate to in-game panicking.
The disclaimer just as he inserts the stimm and the fact that even when he's injected with the stuff, he's just temporarily awesome until he slowly starts getting crumped again.

And the Shepard Jump in the end, really fucking good - well done!

"so, how many samples did we get?"

"three common aaaaand two rare!"

This is the secret level episode for helldivers we did not get.

OMG HE LOST SPECIFICALLY THOSE TWO LIMBS THAT ARE LATER REPLACED IN STEELED VETERANS ARMORS-
i absolutely love this this is peak

I was an OD (Original Diver) for Helldivers 1 and besides this amazing animation, I love how you referenced the first game at 0:15. Back in my day you couldn't go anywhere by yourself. No, you had to fight with your teammates and the Camera perspective would force you to be with them. Now THAT was real Freedom.

Bro got the samples, and it only cost him a arm and a leg.

0:31 At least he left his current samples at pickup before running off. Known many a Helldiver to forget that important step before attempting this exact same thing

If he had a 1st War Jump Pack, he wouldn't struggle so much.

I love the little detail that he checked on the diver before grabbing the samples. He remembered rule number one. Leave no man behind!

Love how they kept jammed up the med shots on his stumps. Like its gonna grow back or something. 😂

Watching the jump pack meter go up through that whole sequence was such a nice attention to detail.

1:50 THE FUCKING SCAVENGER BUG DANCE

"Mobile infantry made me into the man I am today!"

Incompetent teammates… you fight through everything, make it all the way to the ship, and then die right at the door, only for them to leave without the samples. I feel that on a personal level, because it’s happened to me so many times.
