Deus Ex developed by Ion Storm is an early 2000's gem that is, in my opinion, the most important game ever made. A complex action RPG at its core, with the veneer of an FPS, but with an unreal story behind the scenes.

Considering the state of our modern world, the story of Deus Ex really requires no explanation or retrospective- as we're seemingly living in it as we speak! Indeed, it is a weird one- and there's certainly not much else out there like it. Go grab yourself a lemon (or lime) sit back- and take it easy...or perhaps...don't take it easy? Whatever.

Tremendous video. This channel is a hidden gem. I just replayed Deus Ex with the GMDX mod (hardcore mode, highly recommend). Still the greatest game of all time.

Another great video suppressed by the algorithm. I’ve heard good things about this game but I think you’re the one whose sold me on giving it a go. Another game I’ve gone back to playing recently was Star Wars kotor 2. Its another rpg that I believe has aged quite well and although the political aspect of game nowhere near compared to deus ex it nevertheless rewards critical and free thinking all the way from start to finish. I don’t consider myself a Star Wars fan but I’d highly recommend it to anyone who enjoyed deus ex.

JC Denton is still dripping after 23 years since the game was released. It’s a game still relevant to today. Heck maybe this could’ve been set in the cyberpunk universe. Maybe it could’ve been set in alternate 1999/2000 where the grey death or wasting plague. The disease itself that makes Covid look like a schoolboy of deadly disease. It’s a disease so deadly that masking yourself couldn’t save your body from the virus itself. Like this Bob page is the OG father of the new Bob page in deus ex human revolution. Also the augmented soldiers are the elite super soldiers and not just normal cybernetic soldiers like the norm of cyberpunk 2077. Or deus ex human revolution. Only when the Tel Aviv war of 2003 to 2009 is when cybernetic super soldiers can become a normal and also allow the early rise Trans humanism. Like ghost in the shell.

That comment from Warren Spector is just insane, like how do these people have their heads so far up their own asses? I mean he can dislike Trump all he wants, anyone can but to endorse Biden is just wtf. Reminds me of when I watched Invasion of the Body Snatchers and had this feeling that the aliens reminded me of all the identity politic nutters today and then I find a comment from the director that it's supposed to mirror modern conservatives in the US, like sir, do some introspection please.
