Untill I saw this, for me Babu Naik was EX MLA of Margao. After watching this documentary LOKNAYAK my salutes to the LEGEND.

Babu Naik..... one of the greatest  stalwarts  of Goan Politics.

Times and people we goenkars cherish and whose virtues we hope will serve as a guiding light to all present & future servants of Goa. Personally, grateful to see the stories of him & times gone by come to life, always heard of them, the collection of pictures was beautiful. Good work .

This film is highly recommended for generation Z and alpha and all those who have forgotten Goa's pre statehood history. My generation was witness to all that's depicted in this film and its totally based on verifiable facts. Long live Anant Narasimha Naik from illustrated Naik Shankhwalkar family blessed by none other than Swami Vivekanand.

Babu Naik was a fiery speaker, he along with Dr. Jack Sequeira ,Vasudev Salmalkar  Enio Pimenta, youngster Jhoti Salmalkar, many other key personalities pioneered the Opinion Poll movement. Forgot  names of many others.

Goan people and government must recommend to GOI for a posthumous Bharat Ratna award. to Bapu.
