3 Predator-Prey Interactions That Have Only Happened Once

While researching a recent video, I was reminded of when P-22 the mountain lion ate a koala at the LA zoo.
This is probably the only case in the world where a cougar has eaten a koala, and this got me thinking of other obscure predator prey relationships that have likely only occurred once.
Sometimes animals escape from captivity and feed on native wildlife that they can't come across in their native range, and sometimes adventurous wild animals will head into ecosystems where they don't belong and feed on new species.
In this video we'll be covering some of the weirdest instances that have been recorded over the years.

Imagine being a shark and choking to death on a Echidna, that must fucking suck

I'd like to see a video on wild animals found far from their natural habitat, like an Emperor penguin was recently found on a beach in Australia after swimming from Antarctica.

It could also get worse if your lunch is an intact Echidna.

I’m really curious as to the cause of death of the leopard seal that ate the platypus? Could the poisonous spurs have punctured the seals stomach?

in Los Angeles area, a mountain lion attacked and killed a woman jogger. Days or weeks later it attacked a former collegiate wrestler going for a jog. The wrestler put the cougar in a head lock.

Here's a few video ideas!

1. Mammals that can't swim, the vast majority of mammals can swim, so showcases the few exceptions could be a cool video

2. Mammals that, surprisingly, CAN swim. As the inverse of the last

3. Fastest birds excluding flight (like running or swimming)

Well New Zealand has a decreasing orca population and endemic penguins not to mention other food options so I wouldn’t be at all surprised if leopard seals increase in numbers in the coming years.

I like to magine a timeline where that Leopard Seal found its way back home and tried telling other Seals about this strange, delicious critter it ate, but none believe them. 😂

"....a fat otter with the bill of a bird and tail of a beaver? Sureeeeee Mate. 😏"

In reality, it turned out that the true apex predator of the Amazon is the black caiman.

It’s tough out there for Australian animals 😭

I don't know if it's the only case documented, but there's a video on YouTube of an armadillo killing and partially consuming a penguin.

0:31 I like the fact you said ‘probably’ lol.
That implies there could have been other instances of kolas getting eaten by cougars, wether it be Blinky Bill’s family vacation gone wrong or the US military allegedly airdropping cougars into the Blue Mountains in WW2 for no reason, ya just never really know for sure lmao
