This may be the most period accurate AM1 Custom Build I have seen in a while. The good old days of people saying to get them for cheap Quad Core Usage…Not realising at the time a Celeron would likely destroy it.

All tucked together with the most questionable of CIT Power Supplies. Wonderful stuff.

bin that PSU immediately, had exactly this PSU almost blow up on me back when I had an i5 2400 + GT 730 build.

Truly a computer of all time

You know, I never thought about your channel name until just now, randomly.

Is it normal to to watch his videos just to see him meet his end several times in CS2 or is it just me? Great video RG!

@12:19 "I'LL GET YOU NEXT TIME, ICEBURG!" (right before getting spawn sniped by Budget Builds) 🤣

My old pc I built had that case. I7 2600, 16gb ram 1333mhz, 512gb sata3 drive and gtx980.

You know you are in for a good time when you see a PS2 port on the motherboard.

0:22 A Commonwealth Institute of Technology case? I mean, it really does have that Institute look to it! 😉

Nice case!

5:25 - that GPU sag is insane!

I built 25+ of the F3 CIT case machines.....No PSU included. There was Red, Green, Blue and White (w blue LEDs) - I built all these for a well known bar chain across the UK. Some are still in place on Intel or AM4 boards all with different PSUs.  Still got two in a box...

What a computer. It can compute and stuff

the case is the DIYPC DIY-F2-W.   Used a bunch of them few years ago.  came in multipe colors too.

oh my god my first pc i got in 2020 was in a black version of almost that exact case with just slightly different IO

Here in the US that case was available from a brand called DIYPC. I used it several times in several colors to case swap optiplexes and sell them as gaming PCs. Had to make sure you had plenty of fan though, cause those were little heaters.

Those AM1 CPUs were crazy efficient for the time. I use one as my OPNSense router.

Other than that, i loved this case.

Ay I am glad I found this channel again, I always loved the practicality and realistic base mindset. Subbed (again? idk what happened), respecttt.

I've also got a PC with an R9 380 with molex to PCIe adapters... after a while, I noticed a really pungent smell.
I replaced the power supply immediately, just to be sure. :D

This has made me think of my old CIT Prebuilt from donkeys years ago. I think the case was called an F7 and I think I had some sort of AM3 build in there. It wasn't until the last few years I got into building myself. Good memories, thanks for the memory unlock.
