Poor Vern. Allen was in the end zone before he even could articulate what was going on. All he could do was bumble names. No complete sentences on that play at all. Perfect example of a guy that has stayed in a job too long.
Knight was having a really great game until he became seemingly overly-anxious and had those fumbles. The fumbles killed the momentum of his team. Then, of course, Alabama took over. The key to Alabama is that they go hard full-game, and the opponents "wear down." I would love to see Louisville and Alabama face-off. I have always believed and still do that the team with the best QB--providing the refs call the game fairly--WINS. In this game, Hurts was the best QB.
