The first World Lewy Body Disease (LBD) Day takes place on January 28, 2024. This is a true recognition for this disease, which is still too often misunderstood, despite being the second most common neurodegenerative disease after Alzheimer's.
We met with Professor Frédéric Blanc from the Strasbourg University Hospital (CHRU), a neurologist and researcher specializing in the disease, to better understand this condition.
The Alzheimer's Research Foundation is proud to have supported LBD research for years, and in particular the work of Professor Blanc.
