Basic Rules of One-Point Perspective:

1. Establish a horizon line — This represents the viewer's eye level.
2. Use one vanishing point — Lines moving into depth converge toward a single point on the horizon line.
3. Keep horizontal and vertical lines straight — Lines parallel to the picture plane remain horizontal or vertical, while depth lines recede toward the vanishing point.
