Omg that Bad Bunny comparison was soo accurate!!! 😂😂😂

You're so right about pantomiming! Often it's enough on its own, but if you do know some rudimentary Chinese (or whatever language) but your pronunciation is off, combining the words with pantomimes will make it twice as effective in getting the message across. Or even three times more effective! I've seen shirts for tourists which have icons for at least a dozen common places and things, like train station or restaurant. I think they don't even have words cause they're supposed to be universal. So if you don't know the local language, just pointing at your shirt and waving your hands around will get you far. So much of communication is body language and tone, not the words themselves.

24:57 As for nine o'clock, I would first pantomime the hands of a clock moving with my fingers - not the specific time but just to get across that I'm talking about time. Or pointing / looking at my wrist is a good idea too. Then I'd show 9 fingers. Of course, if you know the words for "hour" or "time", just combining that with 9 fingers should do the trick.

Did you catch the sign on the hotel room that said something along the lines of ”having sexual relations with a girl under 14 is a crime regardless of consent. Lighest punishment is prison time and highest punishment is death by firing squad”
