This is the video I wish I’d seen when I was 122.9kg (19st 5lb / 271lb).
Back then, I’d get out of breath walking up the stairs. Even bending down to tie my shoelaces could leave me struggling. The idea of becoming “fit” felt like this enormous mountain I had to climb.
But I didn’t need to become an athlete overnight.
I needed to start moving.
Today I’m taking you through the 9 simple T’ai Chi-inspired movements I now do every day, the routine I genuinely wish I’d started when I was at my heaviest.
No gym.
No equipment.
No need to already be fit.
Just 9 minutes and 9 movements.
These movements didn’t cause my 45kg+ weight loss on their own, my transformation involved major changes to my nutrition, lifestyle, activity and other factors, but building the habit of moving every single day has become a huge part of the person I am today.
My goal now is bigger than my own transformation: I want to inspire 1,000,000 people to move every day.
So if you’re watching this thinking you’re too overweight, too unfit, too old or too far gone to start…
Start where you are. Do what you can. Just move.
📕 WANT TO BUILD YOUR OWN DAILY HABIT?
I’ve put everything I’ve learned about building habits, staying consistent and actually showing up when motivation disappears into my Habit Building Ebook.
It’s for anyone who’s tired of constantly starting again and wants a simple framework for making positive habits part of everyday life.
