I was telling my niece about Lisa, and I told her about how Lisa brings the Bible to life by her humor and by the way she puts it in a context of our world, today (I.e. calling Peter, Pete and describing him as wearing a Bass Pro cap). Lisa also helps us understand Gods love in a way that I’ve never heard. I told my niece that Lisa is so smart, and she uses the humor, the down-to-earth illustrations, and her knowledge of the Bible in such a way that we don’t even realize what hit us! Then we realize that what hit us was a huge theological concept that is applicable to our lives in the here-and-now. God has given Lisa such an awesome gift!!!

Lisa, I'm a 78 year old great grandma and I have followed your messages for years, I love you! I have one complaint is you only preach for about 20 minutes! I wish you would elaborate a little longer, I love listening to you! You have a wonderful ability to explain the Gospel! Keep it up! It's August 2026 and I've lived for Jesus over 70 years and you captivate me more than any other preacher I've ever been privileged to hear!❤

Had the pleasure of seeing Pastor Lisa minister in-person in Rome, GA a few years ago. Immediately fell in love and my heart posture towards her hasn't changed. She's a real one!

I was stuck and have been stuck so many times, and God ALWAYS RESTORED. I was in a place and had been there for a couple of years. I felt like God was mad at me. He didnt love me anymore because i had compromised with my x husband drug addiction. I choose him over God. Of couse, i lost him because he was my idol, not intentionally, but i got lost in the manipulation and control. God used Lisa to deliver me from that lie of the enemy. I wish i could tell her that God used her to save my soul and those attached to me. Im a prophetess , a evangelist and all those assigned to e wont be lost . Thank u Lord!

I found Lisa (and Hope City) by way of Covid. A lot of times we as humans only recall the painful moments as a result of Covid, but this is a reminder of the blessing in the storm. I love how relatable Lisa's messages are.

As always, God’s word moves me, it delights me, it fills me. And it comes to me - THROUGH YOU! Thank you, Lisa, for your spirit, your knowledge, and your willingness to go where God leads you, to speak the words He puts in your heart to speak, and to share your own unique and wonderful way of studying and understanding God’s word. I pray that you will one day come to Huntsville, AL, where i live, to minister to us in person. I would LOVE to see and hear you in person. And bring Missy with you. You can take her to the Space and Rocket Center while you’re here. I’ll drive!

I remember how Lisa stopped the congregation one day to pray about an amber alert that blasted in the middle of the service. It was 12 o clock service and everyone took a minute and prayed. I went home and saw, if I remember, by coincidence that a child had been found. The article had been posted just a hour or two after we prayed.
I was reminded of Matthew 18:20 where Jesus said, "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
