It's hard to believe that Atlantis hasn't been in Kingdom Hearts yet. That whole movie they are looking for the HEART of Atlantis. The level writes itself.

Imagine if we did get that Jungle Book world in BBS and they got Haley Joel Osment to reprise his role as Mowgli from The Jungle Book 2.

"Yuffie was gonna be Rikku"
"Cloud and Vincent merged"
What I've theorized for years!

Small correction: the concept art for the Star Wars world in Fragmented Keys was not based on the prequel movies, but rather on the Clone Wars CGI show, the cartoony look in my opinion fit the Kingdom Hearts aesthetic much more.

Brother imagine if we actually got GOLIATH from Gargoyles as a SUMMON 😫

Sad Atlantis, Gargoyles, Jungle Book, Treasure Planet & Cars were scrapped

Tarzan entered the public domain this year!! Idk if that also frees them up to use the Disney version, but if so that would be cool.

Small correction: Tarzan's first book is in the public domain, the ERB estate do not own the IP. They do own the trademark, which they abuse in court to keep others from using Tarzan.

Even Disney isn't that strict over public domain usages of Mickey Mouses first appearance.

The Toy Story summon probably would’ve been like Woody using his back pull string thing and Buzz flying with style whilst shooting out laser blasts akin to his KH3 version.

As for Stitch’s ship, it probably would have been used in a cutscene showing how he got to Hollow Bastion upon crashing his ship just like in the movie, and would result in a quest helping him repair the ship which on completion gives his summon.

My PS2 had a thing that was basically a game shark, it could attempt to summon Bahamut but would crash. There was also a glitched Keyblade that made a chime sound every time you take a step but crashed game if you tried to leave the load zone

Regarding Chernabog...VERY EARLY in development, Chernabog was meant to be the true villain and evil mastermind of KH1, but Nomura and Disney eventually decided to create an original character as the main villain, aka Ansem. However, they still wanted to incorporate Chernabog into the game, and they even considered having Chernabog be Ansem's final boss form (after he would absorb all of the darkness to become all powerful). But they eventually decided against that too.

2:06 To be fair, Alice wasn’t kidnapped by Maleficent at that point.

The cloud + Vincent thing explains a lot

So that audio track is clearly an older version of Wonderland you can hear the same battle track with different instruments in game.

sora's lion design concept would definitely fit a zootopia world.(maybe even it's infamous scrapped scenario but instead with darkness infecting the predators.)

chernabog being the origin of the darkness/door of light hitting him like the ave maria bells be cool.(love a fantasia 2000 world or having firebird be the origin of darkness/spring sprite focal point of light.:3)

i remember kh mobile(wild hawaii likely adapting lilo's part of lilo & stitch after stitch ended up in hollow bastion/radiant garden and star wars was going to have a early appearance though wish missing link happened)

wish we saw tifa & find interesting aya was going to be in as i'd be for more square enix series like with the world ends with you.

extremely wish atlantis got into kh as it would fit the series(the king literally tried to use the heart of his world as a weapon/king triton mentioning the trouble the keyblade has done could've had him refer to the king as an example & would love sora bonding with milo/kida/the crew maybe fighting rourke in his crystal form as a boss mixed with the heartless trying to corrupt atlantis.:3)

all 3 of disney's jungle films(love to see the jungle book & if tarzan ever returns want it based off the the legend of tv series as i'd love queen la as a boss) being in kh would've been something.

the gargoyles almost being in kh really makes me want the DTVA in general to be in kingdom hearts.(like have their villains be added to maleficent's group or taking her spot like drakken or lord hater with pete switching over to their side/have his family.)

poor goofy not being considered as the main character.(wizard's of mickey feels like the closest to if mickey had been the star)

would've loved seeing the trio explore more of hollow bastion in 2.

with the disney park rides in 3(be the wildest origin to disneyland/world ever if the inevitable lead into connecting the broken apart world resulted in that.)be for the wasteland from epic mickey being in it seeing oswald/ortensia with the mad doctor as a boss.

ff9's music makes me wish they did more with vivi(legit thought he was a heartless that turned good as i knew of black mages but not the ones in 9) having him form a gang with a kh version of zidane's gang as i prefer the kh series being a mix of disney with final fantasy just include more like other villains such as kuja/kefka/golbez.

wish we'd see honest john and gideon.

i remember laguna being switched to dissidia(was my favorite part of it & imo the characters of those games could easily be in kh as new 13 lights/darkness as i also really remember seeing concept art of lightning in the style of kh 3's early build) at the cost of mirage arena being redundant when we have olympus coliseum.

after seeing the pilot would've loved a kingdom hearts cartoon/could easily do an anime of the manga's as the art style of shiro amano would completely be how a kh anime should be like.

2:45, so this Keyhole is used ingame, however its only in a cutscene

I was obsessed with every single one of these trailers so these differences always bothered me too

Some comments;

I think you mixed up Storm Rider and Assault Rider regarding its supposed intended appearance in KH1, but it's ultimately a moot point because it's not true to begin with. Someone added it to the fan wiki years ago with no source, and it spread like wildfire as trivia knowledge despite no official sources confirming it

An interesting thing for CoM that would've been worth noting - the original title of the game was "Lost Memories" before it was changed later in development

I don't know which Nomura comment you're talking about with Woody and Buzz in KHIIFM, because that's not true. The unfinished models for them exist in KHII original, and there was never any discussion I've heard of for finishing them in FM, nor of any legal issues preventing it

Still, overall great video! Always fun to see these!

I recently watched a vid that shows that many of the unused/alternate mixes of kh1 songs around the internet are actually being played with the the wrong instrument banks, maybe thats what happened with that Womderland battle theme

Is really interested in taking out the cut content in the Kingdom hearts franchise honestly especially the current content from Kingdom hearts chain of memories in kh2 and even other games as well.
