I found a very similar knock off here in Europe. Its basically 1 to 1 with the Wrangler jacket, every stich, button, its just missing the W shaped stiches on the chest pockets since its not made by wrangler. I got it for 25 euros but had to pay 25 more for delivery and taxes. Its by a brand named Firetrap, and the jacket is from the blackseal collection (or at least thats what the labele says) I cant find anything like it online but from what i could read on the lables it was made in the 90s- early 2000s. But im very happy with the find. Even the small stiched buttons on the sides of the zipper are there. When I try to do an image search on google it just shows me results of the vintage wrangler or says something like "This is a vintage Wrangler 24MJ denim jacket." If anyone can find something more about this jacket pls comment.

Just after the start I reached for the very similiar Maverick MJZ for comparison and followed the reel, as stated Maverick is Wrangler is a subsidiary and made off of the 24MJZ. Instead off the "w" pocket stich it's replaced with a "M" and of course the tag change making for a lesser priced product- but full spitting image, style and fit. I'd have to pull a  24MJZ to compare weight but likely a match. A smart looking variety at less but investment.That's my take, the movie's not bad either.

I would go with Red Tornado. Everything I have bought from them is excellent quality. Its a direct from China buy without the middleman. That’s why the price is so low.

Bought the wrangler repo and washed it on hot, it fits a lot better, plus lightened up closer to the brighter blue most wranglers have

I bought a J.Crew selvedge jacket with a zipper front and those dot tacks were very curious at first glance. I thought they were just trying to save money on rivets.

Well.....got to say, the wrangle jacket on the website was made out of cone mills denim, which is discontinued and hard to get......(worthy if it means something to you, otherwise, Red Tornado it is, solide for the price! )

I bought very similar maybe Little bit darker blue jacket in wrangler collab with sandro maybe after few washes will be same tint

I found a vintage Japanese version of this but with 1 chest pocket. All the other features are the same apart from the dot stitching. I own a lot of denim jackets but this is probably the  coolest.

Definitely different but at least from a fit POV, the Mr. freedom ranch blouse fits quite similarly sitting nicely on the waist 🤙🏼

I love Wrangler 4-pocket denim jackets and have the vintage 24mjz, 24mj, 124mj, 20mjl, jl720nv, and the Maverick 3J03MJ.
I think the 4pocket design is the most sophisticated and stylish！

Informative video, I agree it's a very cool change from the ubiquitous Type III. I did buy the Wrangler White Oak Selvedge version on the site right now - it's definitely longer than historical versions but luckily they didn't go crazy with the length (center back length is 25" on a medium) unlike some brands (looking at you Thursday & Taylor Stitch).

The new Wrangler jacket is pretty well made, it's made in Mexico and other than a lot of unsnipped threads, the stitching is good and the fit feels great. It's a little hard to zip because the double folded layer of fabric on the bottom hem blocks the zippers from easily moving up/down.

So those boots on Brad Pitt are the Minnetonka Two Button Hardsole, very very very 60s.  I had 'em once upon a time in New Jersey  but unfortunately never got the Wrangler jacket.  I did have the jeans that my mom purchased for me at Sears Roebuck in Hackensack.  We're talking  about 1967ish.
