I was saved during one of his tent revivals in Winter Haven Fl., in 1960. Tremendous man of God and a greatly anointed man of God.

I got to meet him at one of the last messages he ever preached. He prophesied to me and a spiritual wind came from behind him and I felt like I had been charged by a lion. I was knocked over by the power of God. I miss this man, but I can tell you this. There are better days ahead!

I've had the privilege to call T.L.Lowery my friend and have attended National Church of God several times. Sure do miss him.

What a powerful anointing he had and one of the few Church of God preachers that walked in the supernatural anointing.
I am Church of God and it’s sad to see what’s happened to our denomination.  I’m so glad I grew up under this kind of anointing.
I miss him.  But he’s having a time right now I’m sure!!  One day we’ll have a grand reunion.

However, Elijah did not even think of passing his anointing on to the next generation, by trying to find an Elisha to take it forward.
Instead, God himself directed Elijah to go call Elisha. And God never told Elisha to anoint another to follow after himself.
Too many times, we get ideas of how to do things, based on how it was done in the Bible, or in the past, by other great men of God,
But we forget to find that first-generation kind of utter dependence on hearing the voice of God, to direct our own paths.
We have forgotten how to pursue His face without any other agenda.
