Yeah, I saw that dirty elbow in the fight. For being a professional striker - that was not how a professional striker would have thrown a punch - that was 100% an elbow and I believe this was when Fury was getting desperate.
Fury did so much damage to his reputation during that fight. Even the hardcore boxing fans are looking at him differently. He looked so bad that night.
That elbow was 100% intentional. Also I respect Volk for taking that fight but it was the wrong decision. He wanted to save the card and he definitely could have won if he had a full camp. I wish they gave that fight to an actual lightweight, chandler, Dariush, Gaethje, literally anyone else
Being a pro boxer, and one of, if not THE BEST boxer in the world, you 100% know how to throw a perfect overhand punch lol. Especially with your dominant hand ! Tyson did a few slick little moves during that fight & I believe every bit of it was intentional. He was being completely destroyed by an MMA fighter making his boxing debut & was trying ANYTHING he could. Knowing the ref wasnt gonna stop him.
if you watch Mike Tyson vs Spinks, Mike throws a few very nasty-looking elbows and even got warned about it- it's definitely something a boxer can do intentionally and disguise if they wanna be dirty
