I really want to find a barber I can go in and ask, ‘what do you think I should do with my hair?’

Because I have no idea what’s best for my hair.

"So i might not have the coolest hair you've ever seen, but there's a chance you saw the coolest hair I've ever done" is cold🥶

this video has made me conclude two things
1) I don't actually know what I want to do with my hair
2) culture is a giant ouroboros that feeds on itself where everyone gets tired of the same thing at the same time every time and does something "new" which is actually just what everyone was doing 40 years ago

Its actually really weird how much he understands what people want.

It's so visible as to how much passion this guy has for this. I'm so jealous of these kind of dudes who figured out what they want and are just doing really great at it and speaks so articulated and sharp about it.

Currently bald at 23, yes bald. yes no hair on top of my head. Yes I have a mustache to compensate. I'm 23 and I'm nervous about flirting with women my age because I look like I'm in my late thirties.

Genuinely have no idea what to do with my hair

I have really thin, fine hair, I get about a 3 hour window after a shower where it looks full and voluminous, and within 6 hours it clumps together and looks straggly and homeless.

this man is so fcking spot on with everything he said

as a black male. I find this relatable.

A fascinating look into hairstyle trends. That being said, I'm not sure how this helps me with the "watch this if you can't find a hairstyle" problem.

4:05 "People don't want to look like they tried" That's been my feeling my whole life and people always thought I was weird or lazy but look at me now huh. I was just ahead of the time by 15 years 😂

For the longest time I can’t find a barber that satisfies me, the main reason is probably I myself don’t even know what I want exactly and what looks good on me. So I just stopped visiting barbershops for a year now.
I’d much rather be unsatisfied with my hairstyle while it’s doesn’t cost me time and money, instead of visiting barbershops costing me time and money yet leaving unsatisfied, if that makes sense.

Would be awesome if you got a barber/stylist that can talk about naturally curly hairstyles. Guys with curls have much more limited options and it’s even more difficult to find anyone who knows how to cut them.
