If anyone is new, Link forgetting he’s holding weights when stepping on the scale is not scripted that’s just him.🙏

Rhett studying a book and Link sniffing towels is the most Rhett and Link thing ever.

As an ex Mormon, this is insanely accurate to the actual experience of leaving it. Anytime you try to bring up even minor inconsistencies nobody will even listen or try to answer you.

Only Rhett and Link could make a stunningly accurate allegory for religious indoctrination, deconstruction and alienation under the disguise of a hotel ranking video.

I am sure this episode was in no way guided by Rhett and Link's life experiences.

Wonderhole's magic lies in the always seamless transition from just an on-location GMM episode to a fully-fledged and entertaining scripted show.

You can check out anytime you want, but you can never leave.

As someone who was baptized in a hotel pool during an evangelism conference at the ripe age of 12, then went through a major deconstruction later in life, this felt very personal lol

2:58 link saying that holding rhetts hair back is intimate, actively forgetting that they took a chicken noodle soup bath together

Imagine not knowing Rhett and link and stumbling upon this video because of the title/thumbnail. Man that must be an unique experience. 10/10 for this one, amazing

0:46 in retrospect, the 1-star review about the hot tub was clearly a cryptic warning. glad that person recovered alright

Morgan's"We're soaking" comment, such a great under the radar joke. Haha 25:57

"We Tested 1-Star Hotels" i thought oh this is gonna be a normal rhett and link video, then i realized it's a wonderhole video and everything will descends into complete madness and everything will go completely OFF the rails

A someone who has deconstructed and also worked in hotels for a decade, this was an excellent combo of two traumas. I am healed. 5 stars, gentlemen.

@SLorenzo-in-cyberspace 1 year ago

That ending hurt. It’s that sense of finality that comes knowing that there are some people, be they family or friends, who you will just naturally drift away from once you leave.

Rhett and Link have made an awesome episode, hope it gets more views.

As someone raised religious who has since had a change of mind, this was a very well done satire. Five stars.

2:14 if you're checking for bed bugs you should be looking under the sheets in the corners of the mattress. That's where they lay their eggs. I used to work at a hotel and we were very serious about them (for obvious reasons) but that's how we'd check.

@Sheepy_Cakes 1 year ago

As a hotel worker AND an ex-vangelical this video seems almost very, VERY specifically tailored to me LOL

As a formerly religious person, this is an amazing allegory for the potential pitfalls of religion and cults. Everything from the discouragement of leaving to the usage of celebrities as justification of the religion to the leaders often mending the rules for themselves to having close friends and family end up choosing the religion over the people once closest to them. I'm sure that not all religious groups are like this, but this is an exceptional critique of those that are. Always love watching Wonderhole to see what ends up happening, keep up the amazing work!
