Just thought I would mention this here because it will be the first video you watch. The accompanying study material book, 'Practical Guide to Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations: Conforms to 18th Edition' has more errors in it than GN3. I've only been using it for 4 or 5 days and already come across duplicate pages, spelling mistakes and instances of the wrong units being used in the calculations of worked examples. For an educational book this is not good enough and almost as unprofessional as the IET releasing the Guidance Notes without proof reading them.
This is not correct. GN3 gives the value of 0.05 ohms for joints across bonds by earth clamps to the pipes. Nowhere does GN3 indicate that the resistance of the bonding conductor from end to end should be below 0.05 ohms.
What a well practiced teach in, your manner of speach is perfect for all to follow, well done! I think from looking at the comments here that how you have Tested the Gas Main Bonding left a lot of us scratching our heads, after all you were supposed to be measuring the Length of Cable Resistance and not picking up any resistance of the copper pipe connections, I was always taught to remove the Cable away from the Bonding point when Testing If I was fortunate enought to have the Main Water Bond nearby, then to use that as my return loop, take the reading at the Main Earth Marshalling Position and then look up the Tables showing the values of resistance for each cable to prove everything was correct.
