What’s the longest away trip you’ve had for a match?

the bowling is very short this year

Sandwich with 2 unusual but effective opening bowlers

I grew up playing age group cricket against Sandwich, fun to see so many lads still at the club playing mens cricket now. Mind you they’ve been playing since they were about 13 years old. They’ve always been a very very good club. The ginger slinger Will Thurgate’s been doing it for years. Always had the ball on a string. As has the Smith dynasty of Sandwich town

Get Tim Lunnon in the side he was world class

That opening bowler looks very difficult to face, he's got a very fast arm.

Funny ground to play on. Seems to change as the game goes on. Good effort from the position the side was in at 37/6. Always next season.

nice new GM sponsorship for the skipper there

a bit disappointed that nobody yelled "keeper's arm" when Joe fielded the first rock

Your man Charlie Mist needs to have a look at what’s happening to his head position everytime he goes to play the ball. He turns his head to the right quite excessively. Hard to keep your eyes on the ball doing that.

Keeper in the first innings needs to work on his footwork. Shocking

Melmen pretty useful with the bat bloody hell

Really didnt realise that Sandwich were that good. They must do well in the Kent Premier. That middle order batting collapse, where wickets were given away, cost Bridges the game, but the late batting display, showed what is possible this summer.
