The Tsaatans, nicknamed "the reindeer people," live in the far north of Mongolia, a frozen and isolated region. Nomadic herders, they preserve their ancestral traditions and practice shamanism. Their free lifestyle, despite extreme temperatures, contrasts with the modern world. However, the arrival of compulsory schooling for their children confronts them with a dilemma: preserve their traditions or adapt to civilization. This documentary explores their struggle to balance freedom and progress in a changing world.

The language they speak sounds like Turkic.
Naturally Turkic peoples are the peoples who can live the hardest conditions of nature.
Mesmo em condições extremas de frio e privações , eles vivem felizes.
