Cuba Caminando

Today we walk along 31A Avenue and 31 Avenue in the Playa municipality of Havana, Cuba. The camera follows the path without rushing—from one block to the next, moving between homes, corners, and the everyday flow of the neighborhood. It’s a simple way to get to know this part of the city, paying attention to the details that often go unnoticed.
The video has no narration, only ambient sound, so you can enjoy the walk as if you were there. If you like exploring the streets of Havana, subscribe and join me as we discover the next route.

Y cerca de aquí te pasas,
Te invitaré a mi casa
A beber un aguardiente.
Hallarás mi habitación
Porque tiene una palmera
Vestida de guayabera
Y siempre bailando un son.
Al compás de una canción
De Pablo, Silvio...Shakira,
O una décima guajira
De esas de las que yo hago,
Nos daremos otro trago
Pa' caernos a mentiras...
Y es que somos mentirosos
Gracias al caudillo aquel,
Sabemos vender su piel
Sin haber cazado al oso.
Hoy tu caminar virtuoso
Entre asfalto y flamboyanes
Me devuelve a los desmanes
De mi lejana niñez
Y vuelvo a "oler" otra vez
A abuelos, tabaco y panes.
