That's dynamic pricing for you.
Here in London, leaving aside 'event' rates, busiest night is a Wednesday.
That's when guests can expect to pay up to £250 a night for a budget hotel room.

Lol, I stayed in room 425 there last year, it was noisey but I live on a busy 4 lane town centre road so used to noise

When we used to go out in Canton in the 80s, on our way home to Roath, we’d jump over the Castle walls as a shortcut through those gardens you were walking in

Your comment about “Sweet Caroline” hit the spot. Thought we were the only ones who cringed at that song. It’s fast becoming the English chav’s anthem. You hear it at football matches, on cruise ships, on cruise booze excursions, bars everywhere- absolutely dire.
I used to like it when (only) Neil Diamond sang it, but the volume goes off when I now hear it.

Hello,
Good Evening.
Watching this on a, Miserable Wet Sunday Evening.
You should start getting, Discount on these. Travelodge/Premier Inn.
The bar isnt open till 5am.
Its supposed to say,
"Bar Open till, SAM wants to go home" 😂
The room looks a lot different from the Cruise Cabin.

Good afternoon Marcus and Mel 💚 I must pop to Cardiff as I haven't been yet this year 😮 I'm disappointed, no toilet check for the phantom floater 😂 a tad pricey for what you get, but I guess most Cardiff hotels would be up there on a Saturday night? I always stay at the premier inn when I have a night in Cardiff. Breakfast is only lukewarm though.

Thanks for this. I went past the Cardiff Travelodge and was wondering what it's like and how much a night is. I've travelled around the UK and stayed exclusively in Travelodges since Premier won't accept dogs.
If you feel disturbed by the noise, you can probably check in the Rhondda Heritage hotel for that price.....nice, quiet, boring.

I’d never ever pay that for that quality, the room wasn’t very good. They’re cashing in on the concerts. I went to the Millennium Centre to see Barnum, Premier Inn wanted £101. Bonnie Tyler was in Utilita, the stadium Premier Inn wanted £155. I went home by train, it cost £13.50.
