When she was crying before the emperor 😂had me laughing.... and then came the fighting scene where she saves the Third Prince 🔥.... Also her maid is so funny when she told her " Chunmei you're so cute how do you have murder and arson in your head" 😂😂

I love the relationship with her general father. Once she explains to him about the crown prince, he is ride or die with his daughter.

The maid is seriously a ride or die. I love how quickly she pulls out a plan B from her sleeves. She either took herself out or took as many out before dying in her past life with how determined and quick she is with plan B.

why's the villain so ffiiiiiine tho? Like especially with his hair down and black bed robes, ugh like so unfair. And the second ML as well I cried so much. Overall I would strongly recommend, acting is gooooood, writing is fire, camera job perfect, comedic yet got a lot of action and provokes emotions in the readers. 10/10

I’ve watched so many of these dramas I couldn’t even count them all. This portrayal and this actress is without a doubt the best one I’ve seen. She’s so hilarious and smart. I was laughing so hard while she ‘cried’ in front of the emperor that I had to rewind it twice bc I kept missing the subtitles.
Her saving the prince in that fight was incredible! Him swooning while she was saving him made it so much better!😂❤❤
Then his single tear with the over the top acting had me laughing again. These two are a perfect match.

[ENGLISH SUBTITLE VIEWERS] It is like this movie took everything I love about CDrama and doubled it. 2x awesome heroine, 2x rebirth, 2x the scheming, 2x an awesome family, 2x the budget. The subtitles are inconsistent but will not ruin the fun.
FL is an award winning actress in modern times. But her secret is that in a previous life she was an empress, whose was betrayed by her teacherous emperor husband who caused her to be dubbed a traitor. She chooses to be reborn so that she can prevent this injustice. And in the tradition of all good Cdrama, she does so gloriously.
This movie has great characters. 2FL/2ML that act with conviction, an adorable family, a funny king and his funnier eunuch, a wonderful family for FL and an even more wonderful maid. But this is very much FL's show. She is clever, strategic, and has a low voice unlike many baby voiced characters. She has a hilarious side racket. Unlike some other transmigrated/reborn FLs that are quirky or flippant, she is quirky but does not try hard to make it seem cute. She is so unself-conscious that she is brilliant and even more adorable. And she is kind, just not performative about it.
7.5/10 The only personal quibble I had was the introduction of the "prisioner" character (avoiding spoilers). I found it unnecessary and taking away from a tight, clean plot. But this is a must watch and goes on my list.

This is how a drama should be done! Acting from everyone was great, writing, plot and avery good fl and ml. Scenery, makeup, costumes and the feel of it. A few little places where i went oh no they wont turn this into the other dramas, but it passed quickly, this also had some funny moments that lightened it up. I will watch this again in a few months! Really enjoyable.

she's acting like shes dying and im dying of laughter. perfect. this is my new favorite drama. omg this FL actress is the real life Azula! only shes for the good cause!! what a GEM!!!
